Electrolyte Manufacturing

WattJoule has developed a proprietary manufacturing process supports both sulfate and chloride-based vanadium electrolytes with the same manufacturing infrastructure. Our process is both cost effective and highly scalable. We are now moving forward on the manufacturing deployment with strategic industrial suppliers with experience in high-volume chemical production.

ElectriStor™ employs our trade secret ultra purification process. This allows a wide variation in purity of vanadium feedstock sources, including from vanadium-bearing waste, enabling cost effective electrolyte production utilizing the lowest cost source materials. We do not require high purity feedstocks and this substantially reduces our platform costs.
